@canion Thanks for that detailed, personal answer. It is difficult to say but certainly interesting to consider. I've been exposed to people who have had an autism diagnosis, including family friends and through my earlier drama teaching, but nothing close to your experience or understanding.

It's certainly not my job or place to tell you how you should feel, but I will say that despite the lack of a definition or assistance that might have helped in your childhood, your more independent navigation through life looks to have been very successful. I see a very approachable, conversational person who has established a great family and makes friends easily.
